Catherine is a qualified personal trainer and professional dancer. Born and raised in Whanganui. Catherine traveled in her 20s to work abroad as a dancer in Mexico and India. She now resides in Beachlands, Auckland which offers her the ability to keep working in the fitness and performance arts industries, while also keeping a slower pace of life.
Catherine has worked with many clients over the seven years she's been in the fitness industry. She loves working with people with a good attitude and willingness to learn and grow in strength and mental resilience. Whether your goals are to get stronger, fitter, more flexible or just build confidence or lose a little weight she’s got you covered. Catherine currently works with the New Zealand School of Dance students in Pōneke, as a strength and conditioning coach. If you wish to level up as an athlete or really take your training seriously she welcomes the challenge.
Catherine is currently up-skilling and training in stunts performing and martial arts. While you may not need to know how to fly in the air or pretend like you're falling off a building, Catherine has a wealth of knowledge, passion and movement skills she can pack into your session.
Catherine is an advocate for mental health awareness and co-runs a brand name 'Valour Projects' which is a creative outlet for dance projects and dance classes aimed at expressing and releasing emotion. She caters her services and sessions to the person and what they need, taking in all their lifestyle considerations. Many clients have noted empathy and intuitive training as being some of Catherine’s strengths and reasons that set her apart as a mature trainer.
