About Jaz

My passion for sport & exercise started early. I first joined a gym in my mid-teens, however my journey into fitness was challenging. I didn’t feel like I was progressing at the same rate as others. Despite this I was determined to make a difference, and after leaving school I gained my PT qualification and started working at a local gym. During my move into Assistant Manager and Full-Time Trainer in Dunedin, I discovered Olympic weightlifting.

This leap was the best decision I had made.

The new movements, the technical details, the precision timing, speed and power; it all pushed me to be a better athlete and a better coach. It allowed me to find my own programming style, and for the past two and a half years I have continued to refine my coaching to where it is today.
