About Kelly

Movement is in my DNA, having been involved in sports my entire life.

At university I was too shy to join any sports clubs so attending Group Fitness classes at Les Mills became my new method of movement and exercise.

After a year or so of attending Group Fitness classes, I had fallen in love. The movement, the music the sociability - had me obsessed! Instructors at the time had been coercing me for about a year into becoming an instructor; and with their encouragement and support I plucked up the courage, stepped out of my comfort zone to become a Group Fitness Instructor undertaking training in the first of 10 programs.

One day as I was instructing a Bodyattack class I had an "Aha moment!" My participants had grown significantly; not just in their capabilities physically but their emotional and social connection too. In the middle of a class I thought to myself "The impact that this has had on my participants is so powerful, and I have had a hand in facilitating that; imagine it 1:1 - the impact would be exponential."

This was my catalyst for taking a huge leap of faith and going through a career change to become a Personal Trainer which many years later still fills my soul with joy.

After almost 20 years in the fitness industry in various roles of Membership sales, Group Fitness Instructing, Personal Training and Management one thing that is evident is: we in the industry must continually develop our skills and evolve. My evolution as a Personal Trainer and Wellbeing Coach has been an interesting journey, my own personal experiences relating to training/health and overall wellness have been springboards for continued education; combining them with evidence based research has led to my philosophy of using exercise as a catalyst to achieve the purpose of "Deep Health" for clients.

I've been incredibly lucky to realise my purpose as a Personal Trainer and Wellbeing Coach. Being an altruistic person I empower the bodies, minds and souls of humans by challenging, transforming and transcending clients habits through the modality of physical exercise and mindset training. Seeing clients reaching great success in achieving their personal goals through sustainable lifestyle habits, enabling the full architect of the human to come to life through the mind, body and soul.
